Sun and Moon Tapas Bistro (all about us)
| the sun and moon tapas bistro gains its name from the two pieces of hand made
art-deco stained glass which grace the entrance doors to the restaurant. Made as
a matched pair of artworks, titled sunrise and sunset respectively, these
fantastic stained glass pieces were made for us by local artist and stained
glass designer Karl Theobald
http://www.stainedglass.gbr.fm/ the sun and moon is a four table mini restaurant, individually styled
to create an
intimate comfortable space, candlelit in the evenings, beneath a Moroccan
fabric ceiling, with great food and friendly staff. Outside in our newly stone
flagged courtyard there are two more tables between the plants and shrubs, the
courtyard railings have been replaced for the first time since the 1940s by hand
made wrought ironwork, crafted by local Lancastrian iron-smith Duncan Smith 07983416504.
Inside the restaurant we have regularly changing exhibitions by local artists -
paintings, photographs and ceramics
