Eating Out at the Sun and Moon Tapas Bistro
Dining out at the sun and moon is a personalised experience from start to finish. Entering the Britannia101 on Ullswater Road, Lancaster, you will be invited to take a seat in the bar with an option to have an aperitif from one of the 101's range of over 80 wines, spirits and liqueurs http://www.britannia101.co.uk.
One of our restaurant staff will bring you menus to consider and whilst you wait, your table will be prepared. If you want appetisers to start your meal they will be laid out in advance for you, we suggest you try our own pitta bread with sun and moon home made infused olive oil to accompany these.
Coming through to the restaurant you can expect to enjoy great Spanish and Greek Tapas, traditional and modern, cooked with passion using top quality local produce. You can bring your own wine (corkage charge applies) or chose from the Sun and Moon wine list—everything from Retsina to Champagne.
To complete your meal, don't miss the sun and moon desserts—for example … ‘Fresh raspberries, strawberries and black cherries, served over creamy Greek yoghurt and drizzled with honey’ and finally why not have the sun & moon freshly ground coffee (our own blend created by Atkinsons of Lancaster) maybe with a Metaxa Brandy, Ouzo or flaming Sambuca?
Live music in the 101 bar on Thursdays or the Brit101 ambient DJs on Saturdays may take you on into the bar or out into one of the 101s garden areas to complete your evening.
A variety of special dishes and desserts are available on the night your waiter or waitress will tell you all about these.
