The sun and moon wines are carefully chosen by Amy and Richard after extensive research and extensive recovery from research. Although the names may change a little from those below, you can expect some delicious wines of varying colours, complexity and price on our wine list.

BRING YOUR OWN
We realise that many people have a preferred wine for eating out or for special occasions. So the Sun and Moon is happy to invite you to bring your own wine or wines if you wish. A corkage charge of £3 per bottle applies to this offer.

Reds

Faustino Rioja, Spain £12
Lively wine, with a well defined aroma, combining vanilla and oak.

DO Bierzo
Tilenus Joven 2005, Spain £15
Young wine, produced from the mencia variety. The bouquet displays a broad aromatic range, highlighted by wild berries, with a fine elegant tannin.

DO Bierzo
Pittacum Barrica 2003, Spain £17
This stunning wine has a complex bouquet, including cherry, liquorice, woody hints and spices, with a firm mineral backbone.


 

White

Lively white, with fruity aroma, perfect compliment to
summery foods

Kourtaki, Retsina, Greece £13
Some say an acquired taste, it is the quintessential Mediterranean wine. Undeniably at its best when complimented by Greek meze, as is served here, at the Sun and Moon.
 

Rose

Lively and refreshing, with wild raspberries on the nose and a fresh, spritzy palate.

House Wine - Rioja £12 bottle
Red, White and Rosé available A lively wine with ochre hues, reminiscent of a vine leaf in Autumn.An aroma which is very well defined, beautifully combining the vanilla from the oak with the freshness of the grapes.On the palate it gives excellent balance in the mouth, velvety and elegant with a very intense, persistent finish. Very drinkable.
